When we abide in the Word of God with a seeking heart to know and learn from Him then we gain the discernment and wisdom to keep on the right path. Most people are testing what they hear and see from what they have heard and seen from others and not from a foundation of being one-on-one with God learning from the Holy Spirit. Poonen did not list .... that most of hte "church" are not true Christians and by their nature easily deceived. To "revive" something it has to have been there in the first place, most of these "revival" meetings being had by the false prophets today are not revivals by nature, but are instead devices to bilk countless millions of people of their money.
